2. Subscription Tiers
Our applications may offer different usage tiers with varying data handling practices. For example, some products may include a free tier with on-device-only processing and a premium tier with cloud synchronization and advanced AI features.
Free Tier
- • Your content remains primarily on your device
- • AI features use on-device models running entirely locally (when available on your device)
- • Limited or no content is transmitted to our servers
- • Device registration information may be collected
Premium Tier
- • Your content may be synchronized across your devices via our secure servers
- • AI queries may be processed in the cloud when on-device capabilities are insufficient
- • Advanced insights and features may be generated server-side
- • All transmissions use encrypted connections (TLS/SSL)
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Device Registration (All Users)
When you first launch the app, we register your device with our servers to enable push notifications and verify your subscription status. This includes:
- • A unique device identifier (randomly generated, not linked to your Apple ID)
- • Push notification token (APNs)
- • App version and iOS version
- • Device locale/language setting
3.2 User Content (Premium Users)
With a premium subscription, content you create within our applications (such as notes, labels, tasks, or other user content) may be synchronized across your devices via our servers. This enables:
- • Cross-device synchronization
- • Server-side insight generation and advanced features
- • Backup and data recovery
3.3 AI Queries (Premium Users)
When you use AI-powered features with a premium subscription, your queries and relevant content context may be transmitted to our cloud AI infrastructure for processing. This data is used solely to generate responses and is not retained for training general-purpose AI models.

3.4 Subscription Verification
We use Apple StoreKit to verify your subscription status. This involves exchanging cryptographic tokens with Apple's servers to confirm your purchase. We do not process or store payment information directly.

When you contact our support team, we collect the information you provide, which may include your email address, device information, and descriptions of issues you are experiencing.
4. On-Device Processing
A core principle of our products is to process your data on your device whenever technically feasible. The following capabilities may operate entirely on-device and do not transmit data to our servers:
- On-device AI models: On supported devices, AI-powered features use on-device language and embedding models. Your queries and content are processed locally and never leave your device.
- Semantic search and organization: Embeddings for search and content organization may be generated locally using native platform frameworks.
- Rule-based insights: Pattern-based observations and suggestions may be computed locally using deterministic algorithms.
- Local-only mode: Where available, you can enable local-only mode in settings to prevent network communication with our servers.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our services
- To synchronize data across your devices (premium tier)
- To process AI-powered queries and generate responses (premium tier)
- To generate contextual insights and suggestions (premium tier)
- To verify subscription status and entitlement
- To send push notifications about relevant events and reminders

6. Data We Do Not Collect
We intentionally do not collect or store the following:
- Your name or email address (unless you contact support)
- Your Apple ID or payment information
- Your precise location
- Contacts from your device
- Photos or media from your device
- Note content from Free tier users
- Data for advertising or marketing profiling
7. Infrastructure and Security
Our cloud infrastructure is built on Amazon Web Services (AWS). All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL. We implement the following security measures:
- End-to-end encryption for all network communications
- Authentication via cryptographically signed App Store transaction tokens
- Access controls and audit logging on all infrastructure
- Regular security assessments and dependency updates
- No use of your content for training general-purpose AI models
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you cancel your premium subscription, your synced note data is retained for a reasonable grace period to allow reactivation. After this period, synced data is permanently deleted from our servers. Local data on your device remains under your control.
When you request data deletion, we will remove your personal information from our active systems within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it by law.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: request that we delete your personal data and synced note content
- Portability: request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Restriction: request that we limit the processing of your data

For users in Brazil, these rights are guaranteed under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD). For users in the European Union, these rights are guaranteed under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
